CRCHA takes pride in offering a generous year end awards program to exhibitors participating in our “club” classes.

In open club classes, the number of shows attended and points earned are awarded to the horse which may be shown by more than one rider during the show year.

In non pro club classes, the number of shows attended and points earned are awarded to a single horse and rider combination during the show year.

To qualify for year end awards, an open horse must be exhibited in a club class in at least half of the shows during the show year. To qualify for year end awards, a non pro horse and rider combination must be exhibited in a club class in at least half of the shows during the show year.

For both open horses and non pro horse and rider combinations, one point is awarded for winning a club class and one point is awarded for each horse or horse and rider combination that is beaten in a club class at each show. No points are awarded if the score for the open horse or non pro horse and rider combination is zero but the show still counts toward meeting the requirement to participate in at least half of the shows during the show year. To qualify for year end awards, both open horses and non pro horse and rider combinations must earn a non zero score in a club class in at least one show during the show year.

In classes with 4 or less qualified exhibitors at the end of the show year, the champion will receive a trophy buckle, provided that at least 6 of the scheduled 9 shows are held and qualified exhibitors must have competed in at least half of the completed shows (6 shows must compete in 3, 7 or 8 shows must compete in 4, 9 shows must compete in 5), in the case of ties on points co-champion buckles will be awarded.

In classes with 5 or more qualified exhibitors at the end of the show year, the champion will receive a trophy saddle and the reserve champion will receive a trophy buckle or comparable award, provided that at least 6 of the scheduled 9 shows are held and qualified exhibitors must have competed in at least 5 shows, in the case of ties on points the number of shows will break the tie, in the case of ties on points and shows the total high cow score will break the tie, in the case of ties on points, shows and total cow scores co- champions will be declared and a coin toss will determine the winner of the saddle.

All qualified youth exhibitors will receive year end awards.
