Due to higher than projected entries for Saturday’s open classes, we will be running our alternate schedule and moving the open hackamore class to Friday following the herd practice.
All 72 herd practice works have been filled and there are currently 25 horses on the wait list. If works become available due to scratches, horses on the wait list will be moved up in the order they were received and notified. All 3 year old horses have received works with the remaining works allotted to older horses in the order they were received.
We currently have over 20 horses signed up for the Monday rein and cow practice, sign ups will remain open and works can be reserved at the show until the 40 available works are filled.
Starting this month we are posting the final event schedule and the preliminary event timeline on Saturday the week before the show. The preliminary timeline is provided for the purpose of general planning only, final daily timelines may differ slightly depending on scratches, adds and corresponding placement of drags. Daily draws and timelines will be posted during the show by 6 pm following the close of entries at 2 pm the day before the subject classes run (Friday draws and timeline posted by 6 pm Thursday, Saturday draws and timeline posted by 6 pm Friday and Sunday draws and timeline posted by 6 pm Saturday). Entries will be accepted at the show up to 2 pm the day before the class provided cattle are available.
