The entry form for our herd practice to be held on Friday morning May 24, 2019; spectacular and derby herd work to be held on Friday afternoon May 24, 2019; spectacular and derby rein and cow work to be held concurrently with horse show #4 on Saturday May 25, 2019 and horse show #5 on Sunday May 26, 2019 at the International Agri-Center located at 4500 S Laspina St in Tulare, CA have been posted under “Show Forms“. The spectacular, derby and horse show #4 will be judged by Bobby Ingersoll and Doug Ingersoll and will use NRCHA reining pattern 11 lope away. Horse show #5 will be judged by Doug Ingersoll and will use NRCHA reining pattern 4.
We have done our best to offer something for everyone at our 2019 spring special event which features spectaculars and derbies for open, non-pro and non-pro limited exhibitors and two horse shows with a full slate of NRCHA and CCHA classes. The spectaculars and derbies offer $750 added with an add back of $100 and champion trophy buckles. The NRCHA horse show classes offer a total $4725 added featuring this year for the first time $1000 added open bridle and open hackamore, $500 added non pro bridle and $250 added non pro limited. The CCHA horse show classes offer circuit champion custom embroidered jackets and points toward year end awards. We have stepped up our year end awards program again this year with champion Tom Block saddles in the open bridle, open hackamore, non pro bridle, non pro limited, intermediate non pro limited, novice non pro limited and any other CCHA class with 5 or more qualified entries at the end of the show year. Vendors will include Churchill’s Western, Tom Block Enterprises and Threadventures.
Please note the addition of the herd practice on Friday morning. There will be 3 sets of 10, 3 minute slots with a minimum of 2 fresh head per slot. Priority will be given to spectacular and derby entries, other entries will be placed on a wait list and open slots if any after the close of entries will be filled from the wait list on a first come first served basis. The herd practice is class #1 on the horse show class list.
