The class lists and entry forms for our 2018 horse shows #9 & #10 to be held on Friday November 9, Saturday November 10 and Sunday November 11 at the International Agri-Center located at 4500 S Laspina St in Tulare, CA have been posted under “Forms“.
Horse show #9 will be judged by Donnie Bricker and will use NRCHA reining pattern 5. Horse show #10 will be judged by Smoky Pritchett and will use NRCHA reining pattern 3 lope to. Horse show #9 show representative will be Chris Krieg and horse show #10 show representative will be John Ward.
All horse show #9 classes will be run on Friday November 9, horse show #10 fence classes will be run on Saturday, followed by the 4D Ranch Gotta Go Get It fence shoot out and Cowboy Chicken of Bakersfield hosted BBQ and horse show #10 boxing classes will be run on Sunday followed by the 4D Ranch Gotta Go Get It boxing shoot out, with circuit awards to be presented in all CCHA classes at the end of the event on Sunday.
Horses earning the high combined cow scores in CCHA classes at horse shows #9 and #10 will advance to the shoot outs (no other eligibility requirements apply). In the fence classes one horse from each of the ten qualifying CCHA classes will advance to the shoot out. In the boxing classes two horses from each of the five qualifying CCHA classes will advance to the shoot out. Ties if any in each of the CCHA qualifying classes will also advance to the shoot outs. Each horse will be limited to a single entry in the shoot outs.
The ten qualifying CCHA fence classes include the open bridle, limited open bridle, youth bridle, non pro bridle, novice non pro bridle, open junior horse, limited open junior horse, non pro junior horse, open two rein and non pro two rein.
The five qualifying CCHA boxing classes include the open boxing, youth limited, non pro limited, intermediate non pro limited and novice non pro limited.
There will be no additional entry fees for horses advancing to the shoot outs.
The fence and boxing shoot out champions will receive Gist trophy buckles.
Horses earning the high combined rein and cow scores in all CCHA classes at horse shows #9 and #10 will receive custom show saddle pad circuit awards.
As our final two horse shows of the 2018 season this is also a great opportunity to solidify or improve your position in the CCHA year end standings. And with the NRCHA show season ending on November 15 this is also a great opportunity to add NRCHA points and earnings in pursuit of regional and national championships and qualification for the NRCHA world championship to be held February 15-23, 2019 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, TX.
Please note that we are now including one bag of shavings with each stall at the reduced price of $10 making the price of one stall including one bag of shavings $40. Additional days if any remain $30 per day. Additional shavings if any remain $12. No outside shavings.
Also please note that in coordination with the International Agri-Center we have established a move in time of no earlier than noon on Thursday and a move out time of no later than 9 a.m. on Monday.
CCHA official photographer Deb Mann will be back for all three days of competition.
